yeah, i know… these posts are coming in a bit late. I had a serious lapse in posting while we were away in chicago for a week. i’ll try to get all caught up in the next few days.
here is a little trio of photos from the lincoln park zoo in chicago.
i am not much of a zoo fan anyway but the thing about these cat enclosures that really struck me was just how stark and small they really were. they seemed so empty and sad. the fake environments and the man-made milk crates and rubbermade tubs that were scattered about just added to the sadness.
I think you captured the melancholy of the place.
